Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his visit to Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar mentioned that he was not engaging in disputes with the opposition as his party has several welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. When asked about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's comments on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar stated that he was unaware of the reasons behind Gadkari's statement and planned to discuss it with him upon his return to Mumbai. He emphasized the state's ample funds for the scheme and various development activities. Speaking at a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, Pawar elaborated on the government's efforts toward inclusive development and appealed for support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He reaffirmed his party's commitment to secular values, drawing inspiration from historical figures such as Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar emphasized the state government's dedication to the welfare of all communities, irrespective of caste, religion, region, or language. He highlighted the "Jan Sanman Yatra" initiative aimed at promoting awareness of government schemes and outlined specific programs such as the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana, free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, crop insurance, and various subsidies and honorarium increases for different groups.He expressed hope that all these plans would be sustained for the next five years if the Mahayuti receives backing in the upcoming elections. "I urge you to support and give strong endorsement to Mahayuti in this election," he stated.
